This is Scheme 1, Part I from the Bottom Up Solution to the Triacylglycerol Lipidome. This is the solution for a Type I (AAA) TAG. There are only two possible solutions based on observing the (MH/SDAG) ratio. Either Case 1, the (MH/SDAG) ratio is larger than one, and the MH is the base peak (largest), or Case2, the (MH/SDAG) ratio is less than one, and the DAG is the base peak. When the (MH/SDAG) ratio exactly equals One, both Cases are equal. |
